A monthly creative report should tell a store owner what was learned about buyers, not rank thumbnails by click rate. Group ads by the question or objection each concept tested, then connect attention to qualified store actions.
The decision sequence
Begin with a real buyer or team task and keep the relevant source record. The worksheet below is meant to expose a decision that someone can check, rather than replace specialist review or claim a Megvi client result.
| Decision point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Define the unit | List concept, hypothesis, product, audience, placement, launch date and spend. Keep minor edits under the parent concept. |
| Show the funnel | For each concept show spend, reach, landing visits, product views, add-to-carts and verified purchases where tracking supports them. Mark missing events. |
| Explain differences | Note delivery imbalance, stock changes, offers and landing-page changes before comparing results. |
| Choose next tests | Retain, revise or retire each concept with one reason and the proof asset needed for the next version. |
Worked example
Illustrative report: a sizing-demonstration concept spent AED 1,200 and generated 80 product views and four measured purchases; a discount concept spent AED 400 and generated 35 product views and one measured purchase. The smaller sample does not prove the sizing concept is better. The owner first checks purchase tracking and stock, then tests a second sizing explanation at comparable delivery.
What could change the decision
Do not call platform-attributed purchases incremental sales. Compare store orders and returns separately, and label unverified attribution.
Review before using it
The monthly sheet should contain concept IDs, dates, spend, denominators, outcome definitions, owner decision and next test. Can the owner explain one learning without seeing the ad account?
Next useful step
For a fairer comparison when the concepts received different spend, read reviewing creative performance across unequal spend. For help with a live implementation, see Megvi’s Meta Ads service. Bring the current page, workflow or evidence record and the decision you need to make.
