Make it easy for customers to start a conversation
A WhatsApp click-to-chat link opens a conversation with your number without requiring visitors to save it to their contacts first. Use it on a contact page, Instagram bio, email signature or business card.
- Use a number you actively manage. The number must be registered with WhatsApp. This generator checks formatting; it cannot confirm whether an account exists.
- Keep your starter message specific. Try ‘Hi, I would like a quote for a business website’ instead of a long form. Visitors can edit the message before sending.
- Label website links clearly. A button such as ‘Ask for a quote on WhatsApp’ tells customers what happens next.
- Check printed QR codes. Keep the white border, use strong contrast and test the final printed size with a phone camera.
- Keep your contact details current. This static QR code contains your exact link. Generate a new code if you change the phone number or starter message.

Frequently asked questions
Is this WhatsApp link and QR code generator free?
Yes. You can create a WhatsApp link, copy it and download its static QR code as a PNG without signing up or paying to use this tool.
How do I enter a UAE WhatsApp number?
Select United Arab Emirates (+971) and enter your local number, such as 050 123 4567. The tool removes the local leading 0. You can also paste the full international form, such as +971 50 123 4567.
Can I use a number from another country?
Yes. Choose a listed calling code or select ‘Other country’ and enter the full international number, including its country code. A number starting with + or 00 is treated as a full international number regardless of the selected country.
Does this tool check whether the number has WhatsApp?
No. It checks the number’s format and creates a wa.me link. It does not query WhatsApp or confirm that an account exists. Use a number registered with WhatsApp and test the link before sharing it.
Will the prefilled message be sent automatically?
No. The message appears in the visitor’s WhatsApp chat box. The visitor can edit it and must choose to send it. Generating the link does not send any message.
Can I use the link with WhatsApp Business?
Use a number registered with WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business. Click-to-chat links do not create an account or connect a number to the WhatsApp Business platform.
Does my downloaded QR code expire?
The tool creates a static QR code containing the exact WhatsApp link, with no expiry set by this generator. It remains useful only while the destination number and WhatsApp link remain valid. To change the number or message, create and replace the QR code.
Are my phone number and message uploaded?
This generator creates the link and QR code in your browser. Its code does not upload your inputs or save them in a database. Opening the generated link or scanning the QR code takes you to WhatsApp, where WhatsApp’s own service and policies apply.
Turn clicks into customer enquiries.
